(Violin BMus, Viola AMus, Piano up to Intermediate)
Nicole completed a Bachelor of Music Studies at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, majoring in violin. After graduating in 2017, she sought out various teachers including Vincent Edwards and Robyn Brookfield to further improve her foundation and observe different teaching styles. She also learned viola to broaden her performance skills with and played in the Sydney Youth Orchestra.
She has recently taken an interest in pedagogy and aims to provide quality teaching in students so they may reach their best potential and produce a beautiful sound. Her passion for written musical analysis makes her great at tutoring for HSC music and took her to the Australia Youth Orchestra national music camp- 'Words about Music' program.
(Piano AMus, Music Theory & Composition)
George's deep passion for music was discovered by his parents at age 4 when he one day performed his sister's melodies by ear on his keyboard. By age 9, he had composed his first piano piece. He has taken part in the Sydney Conservatorium's 'Rising Stars' program for piano and composition and completed his AmusA piano exam with distinction in 2017. He is currently studying at the Sydney Conservatorium doing a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance.
George believes that a solid foundation in theory, performance and technique are crucial in developing quality musical playing in students. He believes his sensitive ear, and observation skills can aid him in spotting and rectifying certain traits in students' playing. He thinks that every music lesson and practise should be focussed and purposeful, whilst maintaining love and enjoyment of music.
